ASTRONEER has been recently launched and here is a list with bugs and windows errors that can be fixed imediatly!

No sound Solution

ASTRONEER no sound issue - no audio - no sound in game - no sound after game is launching - Astroneer 2019 no sound solution for windows.

To fix ASTRONEER no sound issue, first download and install (re-install / overwrite) directx pack from here and your issue should be fixed (90+ % procentage consider this as a fix) but is very important to re-install it.

Gamepad not working Solution

ASTRONEER gamepad not working - ASTRONEER gamepad issue - ASTRONEER gamepad not detected or not present

ASTRONEER gamepad issue, ASTRONEER controller is not working, controller is not detected by the system or steering wheel not working - steering wheel issues. All these issues can be fixed if you download this gamepad emulator to game folder, then run it and be sure that your gamepad is detected and all settings will be downloaded and uploaded to your game folder. ASTRONEER Gamepad emu file must be in : DRIVE:\Astroneer\ (Astro.exe should be in that folder)

Example 2: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Astroneer\ To work proper, (Astro.exe) should be there!!!

D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Astroneer\ (exe file location)

Astroneer 2019 gamepad not working issue can be fixed with the emulator from above, very easy.

Fix msvcr100.dll msvcp100.dll and all msv....dll errors

ASTRONEER The program can`t start because msvcp100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the game to fix this problem.

ASTRONEER msvcr100.dll, ASTRONEER msvcp100.dll, ASTRONEER msvcp110.dll, ASTRONEER msvcr110.dll, ASTRONEER msvcr120.dll, ASTRONEER msvcp120.dll, mfc100.dll, msvcrt20.dll, msvcp90.dll, msvcrt40.dll all these errors can be fixed by download and installing some vcredists from here.

Now working ? Then you should uninstall all vcredists from 05` to 17` and clean residual files then install all versions again and fix game can`t start issue

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.

All these errors can be fixed by installing gaming framework from here and java from here.

If the issue cannot be fixed with those two gaming tools, we highly recommend to uninstall all vcredists and install again from 05s to 17s from here:

Astroneer 2019 The program can't start because D3DCompiler_46.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Astroneer 2019: The program can't start because d3ddx11_42.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

All these problems can be fixed by installing vcredist pack from here and if IS NOT WORKING, you have to uninstall all versions and install all back with a special software that can clean residual garbage and registry leftovers!!

ASTRONEER has stopped working or is not responding - Crash

ASTRONEER has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem. Check online for a solution and close the program.

Those are nasty errors but can be fixed.

1. Be sure that your system is clean and have no residual files or registry with this software

2. Download and install actualy re-install directx from here

3. Re-install or install if you don`t have vcredists installed (all from 2005 to 2017) from here

4. Try to re-install game or / and windows.

All these errors can be fixed if you follow those 3 steps:

The application was unable to start correctly GFSDK_SSAO.win64.dll. Click OK to close the application.

GFSDK_HairWorks.win64.dll. Click OK to close the application, gfsdk_ssao_d3d11.win64.dll, gfsdk_txaa.win64.dll. The program can`t start because bink2w64.dll is missing from your computer. ApexFrameworkPROFILE_x64.dll is missing from your computer.
