Generation Zero has been recently launched and here is a list with bugs and windows errors that can be fixed imediatly!

No sound Solution

Generation Zero no sound issue - no audio - no sound in game - no sound after game is launching - Gen Zero no sound solution for windows.

To fix Generation Zero no sound issue, first download and install (re-install / overwrite) directx pack from here and your issue should be fixed (90+ % procentage consider this as a fix) but is very important to re-install it.

Gamepad not working Solution

Generation Zero gamepad not working - Generation Zero gamepad issue - Generation Zero gamepad not detected or not present

Generation Zero gamepad issue, Generation Zero controller is not working, controller is not detected by the system or steering wheel not working - steering wheel issues. All these issues can be fixed if you download this gamepad emulator to game folder, then run it and be sure that your gamepad is detected and all settings will be downloaded and uploaded to your game folder. Generation Zero Gamepad emu file must be in : DRIVE:\GenerationZero\ (GenerationZero_R.exe should be in that folder)

Example 2: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GenerationZero\ To work proper, (GenerationZero_R.exe) should be there!!!

D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\GenerationZero\ (exe file location)

Gen Zero gamepad not working issue can be fixed with the emulator from above, very easy.

Fix msvcr100.dll msvcp100.dll and all msv....dll errors

Generation Zero The program can`t start because msvcp100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the game to fix this problem.

Generation Zero msvcr100.dll, Generation Zero msvcp100.dll or Generation Zero msvcp110.dll, Generation Zero msvcr110.dll, Generation Zero msvcr120.dll, Generation Zero msvcp120.dll, mfc100.dll, msvcrt20.dll, msvcp90.dll, msvcrt40.dll all these errors can be fixed by download and installing some vcredists from here.

Now working ? Then you should uninstall all vcredists from 05` to 17` and clean residual files then install all versions again and fix game can`t start issue

All these errors can be fixed by installing gaming framework from here and java from here.

If the issue cannot be fixed with those two gaming tools, we highly recommend to uninstall all vcredists and install again from 05s to 17s from here:

Gen Zero: The program can't start because d3ddx11_42.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

All these problems can be fixed by installing vcredist pack from here and if IS NOT WORKING, you have to uninstall all versions and install all back with a special software that can clean residual garbage and registry leftovers!!

Generation Zero has stopped working or is not responding - Crash

GenerationZero_R.exe has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem. Check online for a solution and close the program.

Those are nasty errors but can be fixed.

1. Be sure that your system is clean and have no residual files or registry with this software

2. Download and install actualy re-install directx from here

3. Re-install or install if you don`t have vcredists installed (all from 2005 to 2017) from here

4. Try to re-install game or / and windows.

All these errors can be fixed if you follow those 3 steps:

GFSDK_HairWorks.win64.dll. Click OK to close the application, Gen Zero gfsdk_ssao_d3d11.win64.dll, gfsdk_txaa.win64.dll. The program can`t start because Gen Zero bink2w64.dll is missing from your computer. Gen Zero ApexFrameworkPROFILE_x64.dll is missing from your computer.
